Shipping policy

All prices do not include shipping and handling fees. If you require a special shipment, larger shipments of freight, and or faster services, please call or email with your specific requests. Shopify will calculate shipping at the end of your checkout process. 

For all USA orders we offer freight services and use our own Broker, Pacific Customs Broker meaning all brokerage fees, taxes etc will be handled by us and the shipment will arrive to your location without any hassles. In order for you to purchase larger orders, please connect with us over email. We require that you fill out a customs form and provide your SIN for all larger orders with PCB and this information will never be sent to our team. We will provide you a direct email to our USA broker and this info will be held in confidence. 

Smaller USA orders under $2500 USD can all be purchased direct through our shop, and will be shipped in boxes across the border using Canada Post as a Broker. Please break any orders up that are more than $2500 usd to ensure each set of packages under each order is under the amount. You will be required to pay any duties and fees to USPS upon delivery. We have no knowledge or control over these fees if purchased direct through shopify.  

All orders usually ship within 2 days to 2 weeks depending on the size of the order and the availability of local raw materials, and will typically be received 2-7 business days after dispatch depending on location. Weekends and holidays are not included in transit times. Call or email for larger orders or for alternate and expedited shipping options. 

5 Star Finishes Ltd is not responsible for shipping delays, frozen packages during the winter months, damaged goods or lost packages. Credit for shipping charges will only be granted when we receive credit from our shipping company which can range from 7-21 days after incident. Frozen goods are not covered by shipping companies. If you have purchased Navidium Insurance we are able to help replace any lost or damaged items in house. 

All goods that can freeze should be shipped via overnight services with Fedex to greatly reduce the risks.
